BIOGRAPHY

DEIH is an illustrator and mural artist from Valencia, Spain. He have been painting graffiti since mid 90´s. In his own words “I draw, I breathe”. Recently, DEIH have been developing a project called “The Insider,” which is part of an introspective investigation of his feelings and life. He draws his inner life as he consider his relationships with others and himself. Thus, He understand science-fiction representational codes as a way to achieve (to construct) a personal truth.

As he said, his work speaks of his feelings and of his life, as well. he lives as a creative person, he is involved always in this creative process.  Most of the time his work speaks of itself. Creation speaking of creation and about the relationship between him and the others in this communication process. His work speaks of perception, about how we, each of us, perceive a different world. And about how we try to establish a common denominator of our different worlds in just one collective idea to understand it. Despite it all, DEIH thinks the real world is coded just in the information we lost in the effort to explain it.

His works vary in style and have been evolving since the 90s.  The charisma in his art seems to be the motion he manages to bring out from his comic inspired characters. His works has been seen in museums and galleries as Muvim, Museu del Centre del Carme Sala Josep Renau (UPV), UNAM (Mexico DF), AVART, Crewest Gallery (LA), The Fridge (Washington DC) and at festivals like Poliniza, Mislatas represent, Poliniza Mexico, Partidet, Valencia burns, and many more places.
